We had the pleasure of hosting 20 distinguished members of the German (Bavarian) Printers Association, who came to Israel on Printtour 2015 . Israel Innovation Printtour 2015 was organized by Martin Schwarz, Chief Editor of 4CMagazin (https://twitter.com/4cmagazin), to introduce the exciting Israeli print industry, a real hub of innovation, to German and Austrian printers.
At EFI Matan’s Israeli headquarters, the delegation members heard a short presentation about EFI Matan and its products.
Then they went to the production floor, for a demonstration of the Matan 8Q superwide printer. The visitors complimented on the production speed, the print quality as well as the innovative Inline Finishing system, that enables printing, trimming and cutting all at the same time.
Next, the Matan Quantum was introduced. The excellent print quality of this 7pL drop printer very much impressed the delegates.
A lovely lunch buffet was the final note for this pleasant visit.
We hope to meet some of the visitors againat Drupa next year.
Well, you have probably already heard or read about it already. Matan has been acquired by Electronics For Imaging (EFI).
We at Efi Matan are all very excited about this. After all, one of the best companies in the entire printing industry worldwide has chosen to embrace us and add our products to their portfolio! What a vote of confidence in our technology and in our capabilities to develop and manufacture first class super-wide format printers!
As mentioned in the EFI press release about the acquisition (here), Matan’s staff, including its current management under Hanan Yosefi, have become EFI employees and our customers will continue to enjoy the same great support they always have, by the same great support team.
Becoming part of a multinational group brings with it wonderful opportunities and new horizons. Joining forces means for us that the sky is the limit!
At this happy occasion we wanted to thank you our customers for your confidence throughout the years and welcome you to benefit from the larger infrastructure we now have.
Another Fespa is behind us! Fespa 2015 in Cologne was probably the busiest Fespa ever. Hundreds of people came to see our new 7pl printer and the other innovations and we were occupied every second of the show.
We were proud to exhibit two of our super-wide format printer models: the new Quantum 3m high quality indoor close-view graphics printer with 7pl drop size and the Top Product for 2015 Award winning Barak 8QW, with sensational white printing capabilities.
Matan is proud to announce that the Barak 8QW Grand Format Hybrid UV Printer was chosen by the readers of Wide Format Imaging Magazine to receive the 2015 Top Product Award in the Grand Format category.
To be considered for these awards, a product had to be released, commercially available, and shipping between September 1, 2013 through December 31, 2014. Voting was open to app print service providers worldwide from January 12 through February 13, 2015.
This member of the Barak family features white ink printing, on top of Matan’s 8-color PDS technology and boasts a collection of value-added features and options, to support customers in increasing productivity, minimizing waste, reducing labor and ensuring unrivaled ease of use.
How many times does it happened that your sign installer calls you from a customer’s site complaining he has the wrong signs for that location, just because the job was labelled incorrectly?? How much time and money could have been saved if each job was automatically labelled during the printing process and such errors did not occur?
Matan now has a brilliant solution!
|Before: Jobs are labelled manually||After: Labels are automatically printed inline,
during the printing of the job.
